The screen is simply brilliant - the clearest, sharpest and offers fascinating color reproduction to make watching movies like a dream, and that's before you realize that it's wrapped in a casing so big that the largest screen of the iPhone 7 Plus, in a case that feels more like the iPhone 7.

The Galaxy S8 is not perfect - in the search to accommodate the screen, other factors were overlooked: that is, the location of the fingerprint reader. If you want this phone, you should answer this question: is it okay to use an iris scanner?
In the United States you will pay between $ 30 and $ 31.25 a month for this phone with a 24-month contract through US companies such as Verizon, AT & T, Sprint and T-Mobile. Your price contract is not cheap.

Galaxy s8plus price for $ 724.99, there will be a Samsung Galaxy S8 unlocked in the United States that is already available for pre-order from Samsung and is set to deliver (in black) on May 31. If you want to be free of SIM immediately or want any other Color, you will have to pay one of the carriers first.
In Australia, you would be paying an average of AU $ 1,200 to get your hands on this phone. The good news is that at least you have a 64 GB version of this phone in all territories.

The main problem we have with this phone is how you will get into it - most smartphone users now expect to use a fingerprint to unlock their device, which makes it safe and which means you do not have to bite your PIN a billion times a day.
With the Galaxy S6, Samsung managed to run the biometric unlock properly, but unfortunately with the Galaxy S8 things have become difficult and confusing.
You can unlock this phone with your face, a fingerprint or an iris scan, in increasing order of security level, making the S8 one of the most secure phones at this time. (Assuming nobody knows your PIN, of course, that is the backup method of entry
The fingerprint scanner, then, is too far to be used naturally. So, how about the iris scan? Well, it's the best implementation we've seen from Samsung (much better than we've seen in the flammable Note 7), but it's still not perfect.
There are times when it is impeccable, where you just turned on the phone and it will be instantly unlocked since the S8 has detected your eyes and confirmed your identity. (Or simply think that you have beautiful irises and want to impress ... anyway, it's fast).
On the occasions when it works like this you will experience a genuine feeling of living in the future.
About a week passed and we got used to the nuances of the iris scanner; It's okay - it's just slightly irritating to have to hold your phone a certain way, and it's useless while walking or wearing sunglasses (although it worked through regular glasses).

Facial recognition - despite being the defect outside the box - is a non-appellative for us. The phone does not recognize your face too often, it does not work in low light, and it can be falsified by a photo. No, it will not happen.

There is nothing more exasperating about this characteristic than the fact that you can not see if you are 'positioning' your face correctly. There is definitely an angle to hold it optimally ... but you have no idea why.
